Introduction to Cadence Design Systems digital backend flow
18 June 2021, 9–17.30

SoC Hub webinar hosted by Cadence

The 1-day webinar introduces digital backend flow from Cadence Design Systems. The design flow starts with RTL description of the design, which will then be transformed into gate-level netlist using Genus™ Synthesis Solution. The gate-level netlist is placed and routed using Virtuoso® Digital Implementation. After several verification steps like timing and design rule checks, the finished design is streamed out into GDS file and is ready to be sent to manufacturing.

The webinar attendees will receive an introduction in both Cadence tools and will have the possibility to try out the tools with hands-on lab, through a cloud-based design environment provided by Europractice. The introduced design flow is used by the largest microelectronics manufacturers, and the same tools can be used for designing the most complex System-on-Chips ever produced. SoC Hub is using Cadence tools for design of its SoCs.
